A distinctive 100% Roussanne from Stellenbosch, showing the richer, more textured side of this Rhône variety while retaining freshness. Limited production and matured in oak with lees ageing for added depth.
Think lime blossom, ripe pear, peach and a touch of honeyed almond, with a lovely creamy, almost waxy texture. There's a subtle savoury nuttiness underneath the fruit, while fresh acidity keeps it lifted rather than heavy.
Excellent with lobster, crab, creamy seafood pasta, roast chicken, or firm white fish with lemon butter.

An aromatic Rhône white grape. Herbal tea, pear and honey, with a rich, textured body and good freshness. Often blended with Marsanne, it is capable of ageing well, and in Savoie it is known locally as Bergeron.
