Why you'll love it
This is a flagship cuvée that captures the essence of Grand Cru Chardonnay from the Côte des Blancs. Sourced from old vines across Oiry, Chouilly, and Cramant, L'Identité is crafted to reflect the house's precise, mineral style with added structure...
Gimonnet Gonet Champagne Grand Cru L'Identité 2016 is a deep, focused Blanc de Blancs showing ripe citrus, yellow apple, and white pear, layered with toasted hazelnut, lemon cream, and a refined chalky minerality. The extended lees aging lends texture and depth, while the palate remains taut and elegant, finishing with a persistent, saline lift and a touch of pastry richness.
Excellent with lobster, turbot, or poultry in a cream or truffle sauce. It also pairs beautifully with aged cheeses, caviar, or mushroom dishes. Serve chilled but not too cold to let its full aromatic and textural nuance come through—decanting is optional but rewarding.
