The story behind it
"En Songe," meaning "like a dream," is one of the most elegant cuvées from Domaine Marchand-Grillot. The vineyard, located near the Premier Cru Champeaux, features vines planted in 1982 on poor yellow marl soils. The domaine practices early harvesting, natural yeast fermentation with up to 25% whole clusters, and minimal use of new oak, resulting in wines that are approachable in youth yet age gracefully.
