Chile's cool-climate pioneer, between Santiago and the Pacific port of Valparaíso. Morning fog and ocean breezes keep things fresh, making it a go-to for zesty Sauvignon Blanc, elegant Chardonnay and bright Pinot Noir. The valley that showed Chile could make crisp, aromatic whites as well as big reds.
Casablanca Valley, Chile
Juan Cúneo Solari founded Casas del Bosque in 1993 in Chile's Casablanca Valley, one of the first to plant there. It remains one of the few family-owned wineries. We stock Sauvignon Blanc, Syrah, Carmenère and a botrytis Late Harvest Riesling.
