PRODUCER: The family’s first ancestor, Hermanus Bosman, was a sieketrooster (caregiver) who worked in the Cape and played a central role in community development and social upliftment. Bosman lived by the motto of the family crest: ‘faith, hope and love.’ His progressive thinking, desire to help his fellow man, and deep respect for the harmony of nature informed everything he did, and shaped the both the future of the farm and the generations who followed.
WINEMAKING: The cooled grapes are pressed using reductive measures. The settled juice is then inoculated and fermented at cool temperatures to ensure complex compounded flavours that develop over an extended fermentation period.
TASTING NOTE: Vibrant green heart with lime green rim. Mélange of kiwi, gooseberries, fresh passion fruit, flint and vegetal tones. Beautiful mouth feel with a long fruit packed, persistent finish. On its own or as an aperitif but pairs well with salads and meals with chicken or fish.
