Argentina's signature red. Dark plum, blackberry and violets, with a soft, velvety texture that makes it very easy to like, with high-altitude Mendoza vineyards keeping it fresh. In its original home, Cahors, it makes firmer, darker and more rustic wines.

Argentina's southern frontier, centred on Neuquén and Río Negro. Cooler than Mendoza, with strong winds and big swings between day and night temperatures. The result is fresher Malbec, elegant Pinot Noir and crisp whites. A newer, exciting side of Argentine wine.

JerseyLove this wine. It’s definitely a special occasion wine, more than a “let’s get tanked watching Strictly” type of thing. Again LoveWine manage the trick of exceptional quality at a reasonable price. This is the type of wine, that if you went to buy it after tasting, you would be ready at the till with your credit card. Luckily Lovewine are selling credit card wine at debit card prices. It was my son’s birthday “I’ve got this for our son” my wife said. Not a bad swap I thought. She meant as a prezzie. He’d better remember me when I need a kidney.
Very nice wine, crisp and full of taste. My steak on Saturday night somehow tasted so good, the wife is an exceptional cook!
