New in! Léoube Rose

We are delighted to welcome Chateau Léoube (pronounced lay-ooo-b) to our amazing range of rosé wines from Provence.

Nestled in a coastal bay in Provence, a stones throw from St Tropez, lies the Léoube estate, one of the most beautiful protected sites in Europe and home to Chateau Léoube. Spread across four kilometers of coastline, the estate includes 65 hectares of vineyards and 20 hectares of olive groves, all devoted to growing the grapes and olives that make Léoube's organic wines and olive oils.

It all begins with the soil.

Provence is home to some of the oldest vineyards in France, and their soil; dates back over 800million years.

To maintain the heritage of the land, wine maker Romain Ott (yes, of Domaine Ott fame) believes in artisan farming by following biodynamic principles. The estate is also certified organic.

For all of Léoube's award winning rosé wines, they pick all of their grapes by hand and maintain extremely low yields.

THEIR GRAPES ARE ALL HARVESTED BY HAND, IN TUNE WITH THE SEASONAL AND LUNAR CYCLES

All of their rosés undergo at least six months on the lees, to allow complex flavours and textures to develop. The result are wines that are extremely well balanced, fresh, and full of character, while remaining true to their terroir.

We have selected two exceptional wines from their range to bring into the Island.
