Celebrating Longueville Manor's 70th Anniversary

To celebrate their 70th anniversary, Longueville Manor are hosting a series of unique events focusing on rare wines and iconic chefs.

There will be a total of seven events, four of which have already taken place; these have showcased top wines with the likes of Bollinger and premium Bordeaux producers taking centre stage. Other events revolve around world-class chefs coming to Longueville to give guests the ultimate experience.

About Last Night...

Last night was no different; it was the second chef's dinner with Michelin Star chef George Blogg from Gravetye Manor in Sussex, attending standing along side Longueville's resident executive chef, Andrew Baird.

It started with Champagne in Longueville's uber swish new tasting room highlighting a classic producer, Duval-Leroy. If you haven't tried their premium juice, check out our recent article on the Femme 2000 Vintage!

Our very own, David Lamy, hosted the wine side for us; giving a eloquent introduction to each of the wines that were tasted on the evening.

As the night went on, we decided to pair the exquisite food dishes with a variety of interesting New World wines some of which were minimal intervention, from an Australian Vermentino through to a Patagonian Pinot Noir dessert wine.

We would like to thank you personally to Mr and Mrs Lewis for their very kind hospitality.

What's Next?

We have been invited to attend another Chef's event in April, so keep your eyes peeled for a detailed write up!
