- In stock, ready to ship
PRODUCER: Situated at the heart of the village of Sury-enVaux (5 km from Sancerre) on an terroir of good exposure and characteristic of cretaceous and jurassic formed between 100 to 150 million years. Philippe Raimbault comes from a family of winemakers going back many generations and today he has the good fortune to own vineyards on both sides of the Loire River in the Sancerre, Pouilly Fumé and Coteaux du Giennois appellations.
WINEMAKING: A gentle pressing is carried out in order to preserve the aromatic potential. The ageing is then perfected in 228-litre barrels for 1 year (1/3 of the barrels are renewed each year).
TASTING NOTE: Gold in colour. Toasty vanilla nose on a background of citrus peel, flowers and honey. The palate is broad and generous, topped off with racy oak that lets the flavours free!
