PRODUCER: In 1973, René and Thérèse LAMY-PILLOT, both from families of winemakers, built in the hamlet of Morgeot in Chassagne-Montrachet. They worked together exploiting a few plots, vinifying and selling their harvest themselves. Over the years, by hard work and new ideas, the Domain strengthened. It now operates 15 hectares in the communes of Chassagne-Montrachet, Saint Aubin, Santenay, Meursault, and Beaune spread over 20 different appellations. Each vinification is an interpretation of a vintage and a terroir. All our wines are vinified in the same spirit, to confirm the difference between all our terroirs. Our adaptation is based on a vintage and not a terroir, which highlights the natural differences that exist depending on whether a vine is planted at this or that place.
TASTING NOTE: Aromas of strawberry, blackcurrant, Morello cherry, blackberry. These are set off by spicy notes, touch of mocha. On the palate is silky with a lively finish. Age adds suppleness, warmth and persistence.
