Cultivare Sumoll Samso 2016
PRODUCER: Since 1865 the Domènech family has worked lands in Penedès with a passion for obtaining the best fruit of the vineyards. Francisco José Domènech (1839-1909) was the founder of the winemaking tradition in the family and the first to seek perfection of a well-done work.
WINEMAKING: Maceration in open French oak barrels, with daily bazuqueos for two weeks to extract color, aromas and soft tannins. Fermentation at 25 ° C. Later malolactic fermentation in barrel. It is then aged for a year in new French oak barrels.
TASTING NOTE: With notes of intense red fruits such as cherry, and strawberry, we also find touches of fresh wood that combine with the notes of fruit. In the end, spicy aromas such as pepper that give balance, complexity and intensity on the nose stand out. The palate is complex with fruity notes that are reminiscent of the plum, with the memories of soft wood. Long, pleasant and elegant aftertaste.
