A Legacy Rooted in Salento


Paolo Leo's winemaking heritage dates back to the early 1900s in Masseria Monticello. Today, the family-run winery operates in San Donaci, at the heart of Salento, combining traditional methods with modern techniques across 50 hectares of vineyards, many of which are trained in the classic "alberello" style. 

The Wines


Passitivo Primitivo Organic IGP Puglia


A full-bodied, smooth red with ripe cherries, forest fruits, and hints of spice and chocolate. Certified organic and aged partially in French and American oak barrels.
🔥 Try it with: Sticky ribs or Italian sausages.

Salice Salento Riserva


An intense ruby red wine offering aromas of red berries and fresh herbs. Dry, well-balanced, and full-bodied with lasting flavours of dried fruits.
🔥 Try it with: Grilled lamb or smoky aubergine.

Mora Mora Malvasia Nera (New)


Full-bodied and well-balanced, this wine boasts lively tannins and a lingering finish of ripe red fruits. Malvasia Nera is one of Puglia's oldest indigenous grape varieties.
🔥 Try it with: Spicy grilled chicken or veggie kebabs.

Orfeo Negroamaro (New)


Deep ruby colour with garnet tinges; pronounced spicy bouquet with aromas of black cherry, blackcurrant, and blueberry. Full-bodied with smooth, lingering tannins and a long, persistent finish.
🔥 Try it with: Sirloin steak or BBQ mushroom burgers.
