PRODUCER: Château Malartic Lagraviere is one of the rare Grand Cru Classé that is as good for its white as its red. Owned by a Belgian entrepreneur, the estate quickly cleared the quality and modernized its cellars.
WINEMAKING: The grapes are slow pressed and fermented in barrels at about 20-22°. It is then rested on lees in traditional oak barrels for about 10 months.
TASTING NOTES: The nose is complex with aromas of exotic fruit and citrus and subtle impressions of truffle and white fruits. In the mouth an intense and round taste that refers to the presence of citrus and white fruit. A light mineral touch with a hint of mint and great freshness. The finale is long and elegant.
