Tonic water, the classic pairing for gin, has a love/hate reputation.

Double Dutch began by brightening the top of the quinine flavour with pink grapefruit and then deepened the lower notes with a subtle hint of juniper berry to round out the angularity of quinine and lengthen the finish of the tonic, reducing the bitter after-taste to which many people object.

Under Bond.

We are in the unique position in Jersey of being able to store your wine 'in bond' exclusive of Duty and GST in our registered facility. Once wines arrive in the Island, Duty can be deferred further if the wine is stored 'in bond' in our registered bonded warehouse. If it is possible that you may re-sell your wines later, it is advisable to store them under bond.

If/when you choose to have the wines delivered duty & GST becomes payable and  are calculated at the value of the wine upon release at the rate at time of release.

We can also hold your wine with duty & GST paid.

Handling of Wine.

Each and every box is handled individually with the utmost care. We do not move your wine unless you request it. When we move your wine it is only by hand. We do not use forklifts or other non-precise equipment. Wine is a delicate good that needs special handling and care.

Cases are protected in strictly limited access surroundings, by a state-of-the-art 24-hour, digitally recorded, multiplex camera network, and a central station that monitors burglar, fire and temperature alarms at all times. This ensures the protection, maintenance, and integrity of your valued wines for optimal enjoyment when that special occasion arrives.

Ordering from us and delivery Info 

Orders placed on this website can only at present be delivered in Jersey, Guernsey and Great Britain.

Same day delivery guarantee on all Jersey orders.

For deliveries to Guernsey or Great Britain, please email us at hello@lovewine.je in order for us to provide a quote to you on delivery charges.

We will deliver the same day in Jersey all orders placed before 11.30am unless there are unforeseen circumstances that prohibit this. Same day delivery cut off for Saturday is 10.00am. We do not deliver on Sunday.

Click & collect - Jersey only

We offer a click and collect service from our store on Longuevile road. You can find the location of our store on our contact us page.

We will contact you when your order is ready to collect by phone or email.

You are deemed to place an order with us by ordering via our online checkout process. As part of our checkout process you will be given the opportunity to check your order and to correct any errors. We will send you an order acknowledgement, detailing the products you have ordered. You may also order by phone on +44 (1534) 850599. All goods must be paid for either by credit / debit card at time of ordering. All goods remain the property of Love Wine Ltd until paid for in full.

Our acceptance of an order takes place when we dispatch the order. When we dispatch the order the purchase contract will be made even if your payment has been processed immediately, unless we have notified you that we do not accept your order or you have cancelled your order.

 We may refuse to accept an order:

 (a) where goods are not available;

 (b) where we cannot obtain authorisation for your payment;

 (c) if there has been a pricing or product description error; or

 (d) if you do not meet any eligibility criteria set out in our terms and conditions.

 Availability of goods and vintage changes

All products and services are subject to availability and may be withdrawn at any time. Information on the site detailing stock levels should not be viewed as a guarantee of availability, and is a guide only. We will not be responsible for compensating you for any other losses you may suffer if we do not supply the goods. All vintages listed on the site are also subject to change without prior notice. We cannot and do not keep up to date bottle shot images to account for vintage changes, only label design changes. Up to date vintage specific bottle shot images are not provided for us by the wineries so this is an impossible task. If when ordering you would like to know which vintages you will receive please email us at hello@lovewine.je and we will be delighted to confirm. The only time we can guarantee specific vintages is when the vintage is included in the product description as with our Burgundy and Bordeaux wines.

 Ecoupons

 Unless expressly stated otherwise at the time of issue of the eCoupon;

  • Each issued Gift Voucher will be valid for use by a recipient only once, 
  • eCoupons cannot be exchanged for cash or used to purchase gift-vouchers.
  • We accept only Love Wine gift vouchers for any products we sell.

Delivery charges

We do not charge for delivery in Jersey for all orders over £30.00 net (after offers, vouchers, discounts etc). If your order is less than £30.00 net you will incur a £5.00 delivery charge.

Delivery times 

All products listed on the website are subject to availability, and, if they are subsequently found to be unavailable once an order has been placed, you will be informed via email or telephone as soon as your order is processed by one of our office team. We will always endeavor to offer an alternative.

We deliver on week days and Saturday mornings. Unless you are notified of any delay by e-mail or telephone. We do not deliver on Sundays, Bank or Public Holidays, Christmas Eve or New Year's Eve. If your order is placed on a Sunday or a Bank/Public Holiday, it will be processed the next working day.

If we receive an order on a Saturday or a Sunday this will be processed on the next working day.

For orders being delivered to the UK or Guernsey

We deliver via DHL. We will send you a tracking number so you can track the progress of your order. Please note, this is not a guaranteed service and all delivery times are estimates only. We are unable to guarantee any delivery dates or times as delays may occur that are outside our control. There can be delays to receiving your goods as they need to be passed by Customs & Excise when entering your country.   Delivery time usually takes around 7 days but please continue to track via your tracking number. If you are concerned about the time deliveries are taking please contact us and we will investigate with DHL.

IF WE ATTEMPT DELIVERY AT AN AGREED TIME AND DELIVERY IS NOT POSSIBLE WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO CHARGE FOR RE-DELIVERY UNLESS YOU HAVE GIVEN US OR OUR COURIER PRE-AUTHORISATION TO LEAVE THE GOODS IN A SAFE PLACE. IF THIS IS AGREED IT WILL BE AT YOUR RISK.

Cancellation and Returns Policy

 If you wish to cancel your order:

 (a) you can notify us by email

 hello@lovewine.je before we have dispatched the goods to you; or

 (b) where goods have already been dispatched to you, by returning goods to us in accordance with the clause below.

 You can return goods you have ordered from us for any reason at any time within 14 days of receipt for a refund or exchange. The costs of returning goods to us shall be borne by you.

We will not refund you for your return until the stock is received back in our warehouse in Jersey in the Channel Islands. Returns outside of Jersey can be complicated by Customs & Excise delays and duty charges. We bare no responsibility for these delays. If returns do not reach us you are liable for the cost of the goods.

 The right to return the goods to us as referred to the clause above will not apply in the following circumstances,

 (a) in the event that the product has been used and not in a resell-able condition;

 (b) the return has not been pre-authorised by us.
